Mascalls Gallery first exhibited Selby whilst he was still an art student in 2007. His work was part of an open submission exhibition of local artists but we are now delighted to reveal Selby's solo exhibition - Warehouse of Failed Invention.
Mark Selby's work provokes us to re-examine our lives sometimes in humorous and delightful ways and at other times with a sense of foreboding and threat. His sculptural metaphors stick in the mind and perplex and intrigue long after our initial encounter with them.
